Consciousness is fluid and innocent. It flows where ever attention takes it. The mind is the lens that focuses the flow of that attention, making it an incredibly powerful instrument, the engine of Creation. The engine is so awesomely fascinating we’ve deified it. Decarte’s dictum “I think, therefore, I AM” anoints the mind with godhood, enslaving Consciousness in a prison of lies.
I am currently having days of less structure, no set schedule. The only obligations I have are to mySelf. Presence becomes even more of an issue. The so-called future is undefined, unknowable. My illusion of knowability has been exposed for the fearful liar it is, the monkey mind that creates havoc where there is none and replaces serenity with drama. As I travel deeper into uncertainty, the preciousness of Now becomes even more apparent, and more sacred.
I feel my self to be in a Fertile Void of Expectancy. I don’t know what is going to happen when, nothing’s happening currently, there’s a void, yet it seems pregnant with possibility, and if I AM capable of using the engine of Creation to maintain an up-lifted, positive expectancy, I will have a great time and everything will work out smoothly and effortlessly.
Dr. Joe Vitale shared with me The Optimist’s Code. I’m passing it along. Great way to live.
To be so strong that nothing can disturb my peace of mind.
To talk health, happiness, and prosperity to every person I meet.
To make all my friends feel that there is something in them.
To look at the sunny side of everything and make my optimism come true.
To think only of the best, to work only for the best, and to expect only the best.
To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as I am about my own.
To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.
To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature I meet a smile.
To give so much time to the improvement of myself that I have no time to criticize others.
To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.
To think well of myself and to proclaim this fact to the world, not in loud words but in great deeds.
To live in the faith that the world is on my side as long as I AM true to the best that is in me.
